WEDDING

A big thank you to all the wonderful musicians who shared their talents with us on the big day, especially friends and family!

 

Ceremony musicians:

• Jenna Withey (flautist), Matthew's cousin, who played

  • Aria from Oberon, by Weber

  • Married Life from the film score of Up, by Michael Giacchino

• Miguel Garvie (trumpeter), Melissa's 2nd cousin, who played

  • All You Need is Love. by Lennon-McCartney

 

Evening musicians:

• Ruth Cowie (singer), Matthew's sister, accompanied by Spike (guitarist) for our first dance, Dance Me to the End of Love by Leonard Cohen, and following songs

• Modhan who played during dinner and kicked off dancing with the ceilidh, with guest appearance from wedding guest and previous band member Fraser McNiven (fiddler)

• The Retrosettes Sister Band who got us all on the dance after the ceilidh
